YKS Property LLC began with two people who love this city — its mountains, its trails, and the warmth of a community that feels like home. We watched friends and neighbors open their houses to visitors through Airbnb, and we saw a chance to help them do it well: with care, consistency, and the kind of personal touch a big property-management company just can't offer.
What started as a shared love of hospitality has grown into YKS — a locally owned, hands-on team dedicated to treating every property, and every guest, like they're part of our own community.
Yasha and Tammy both know what it's like to grow up without the things every kid deserves — without the chance to stay in school, and without a family to lean on when things fell apart. They were each let go by their families with nothing, and had to figure out how to build a life from there.
That's part of why YKS matters to them beyond the business. As they grow the company, they want to use what they build here to help launch a nonprofit for kids in that same position — young people without access to an education, and without a family behind them — so those kids have someone in their corner the way Yasha and Tammy wish they'd had.

Yasha is the one who notices what everyone else misses — the smudge on the mirror, the pillow that's not quite straight, the small details that make a space feel cared for instead of just cleaned. That's not a work habit, it's just how Yasha moves through the world. Building YKS from the ground up only reinforced something Yasha already believed: the work speaks for itself.

Tammy spent most of her childhood in England before moving to the States, where she fell for Colorado Springs and never looked back — this city is home now, and building YKS here is personal. She's ambitious by nature: once she commits to something, she sees it through to the end, no matter what that takes. That same follow-through is exactly what she brings to every client relationship.
